Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support cradle-to-grave electrical subsystems on interceptor programs. You will release specifications, review supplier data, and perform electrical analysis and testing to ensure mission readiness.

Required qualifications include a BS in engineering with 2 years experience or an MS with no experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering and 2 years of experience or MS with no experience.
• Electrical engineering degree preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Release formal documents with requirements flow down (specifications & statements of work).
• Review supplier test data and support supplier troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Support in-house testing and data review; draft common hardware test pedigrees; perform fault tree analysis.
• Perform electrical analysis and simulation.
• Process supplier hardware changes through configuration control board.
• Witness testing; draft test reports; support LV program on hardware implementation.
• Provide briefings on component failures to engineering review boards; act as primary contact for suppliers.
