Qualifications

• BS in engineering and 2 years of experience or 0 years experience with a Masters
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance is required

Responsibilities

• Create detailed cable layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD software (Teamcenter, Visio)
• Translate engineering specs into build-ready designs for power, telecom, or fiber optic cable systems
• Coordinate with project engineers, field technicians, and construction teams to meet technical documentation requirements
• Maintain and update design documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Optimize cable routing for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Review and revise designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements
• Proven CAD drafting experience for electrical, telecom, or fiber optic cable systems
• Proficiency in Teamcenter, Visio, or equivalent CAD tools
• Understand cable installation standards and electrical codes
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and clear communication
