Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• 0 years experience with Masters acceptable; or 2+ years with BS.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed cable layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD software (Teamcenter, Visio).
• Translate engineering specifications into precise, build-ready designs for power, telecom, or fiber optic cable systems.
• Coordinate with project engineers, field technicians, and construction teams to ensure designs meet technical documentation requirements.
• Maintain and update design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Optimize cable routing for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of installation.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback, site conditions, and evolving project requirements.
