Job summary

RTX’s Air Launched Effector Guidance Systems (ALEGS) Department in Tucson, AZ is hiring an Electrical Engineer II – Production Hardware to oversee cost, schedule and technical aspects through the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, cross-functional collaboration, and readiness for a DoD Secret clearance. Travel is limited, with a 1st shift and onsite work at our Tucson facility.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM field and 2+ years’ relevant experience.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and/or DSP.
• Familiarity with lab equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.
• Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
• Shift Information: 1st shift
