Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 3–6 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Proficiency in C and assembly programming for hardware validation.
• Advanced skill using Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout, test automation tools, and debugging.
• Strong understanding of IPC standards and DFM/DFT for components and PCBAs.
• Ability to write reports and procedures, and present information to teams and management.
• Experience with sporting optics or related equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical circuits and PCBA designs using Altium with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
• Conduct electrical design reviews and ensure IPC compliance; evaluate signal integrity and power distribution.
• Process PCBA layouts, drawings, and subsystems in the PLM system.
• Contribute to NPI projects in a team setting to meet deadlines.
• Perform testing, analyze data, and generate test reports to verify design specs.
• Support manufacturability by reviewing DFM feedback and implementing design solutions.
• Develop manufacturing knowledge and assembly procedures for new designs.
• Provide technical support to contract manufacturers and assist with hardware bring-up.
