Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical/Chemical/Aeronautical Engineering is required and 3–6 years of related design experience is preferred.
  • 2 years minimum experience with defense contracts and product development desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative ammunition design solutions and equipment and take concepts through the development cycle to producible products.
  • Manage multiple design projects of increased complexity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interface with Marketing and customers to document development requirements covering commercial, law enforcement, international, and military markets.
  • Construct design models and work with complex assemblies in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Create design drawings, supervise drafting, and review/approve engineering drawings with limited guidance.
