Job summary

Amrize in Florence, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support design, installation and commissioning of plant electrical systems for capital projects. You will help maintain reliability of power, control instruments, and process control systems, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in the cement industry, strong AC/DC knowledge, and hands-on experience with PLCs (ControlLogix, PLC-5, SLC 500) and network protocols.

Qualifications

• Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Engineering
• Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the cement industry

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of electrical technicians dedicated to supporting, maintaining, and improving plant operations.
• Prepare engineering scope of work for plant electrical projects.
• Interface with contractors and manage field direction.
• Prepare cost estimates for capital plans and feasibility studies.
• Maintain drawings and PM procedures for electrical equipment.
• Use SAP to purchase parts and manage capital projects.
