Job summary

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
Digital and analog circuit design experience.
Experience in power electronics design.
Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium).
Self-accountable with minimal oversight.
Typically 5 to 8 years of engineering experience.
Experience with electric motors, drive electronics, and power conversion circuits.
Experience with Microcontroller-based systems.
Experience with circuit simulation tools (PSpice).
Practical experience in PCB level component troubleshooting.
Practical experience in electrical system level troubleshooting.
Experience with closed‑loop control of motor torque, speed, and position.

Responsibilities

Electrical/electronic design and development for Trust Automation products and customer specific applications.
Development of advanced motion control and power generation/conversion systems.
Requirement derivation, schematic and PCB design.
Design verification through analysis and test.
Integration and test of motion control systems, electrical systems and motors.
Collaborate with the engineering team to advance drive/motor efficiencies.
Lead and direct other engineering teammates as needed.
Participate in design and development processes, including design reviews.
Contribute to project success by meeting design requirements on schedule and within budget.
Assist Program Managers and VPs with project planning and risk mitigation.
Assist with customer interaction and product demonstrations as needed.
