Job summary

HFA, an employee-owned multidisciplinary firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer II to lead electrical designs for small to mid projects, applying NEC compliance, energy codes, and national standards with minimal oversight.

You'll collaborate with clients and diverse teams, perform advanced calculations, develop construction documents, mentor staff, manage budgets, and potentially serve as Engineer of Record on select projects.

Qualifications

• BSEE from ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in applicable states.
• Ability to lead client teams and manage budgets.
• Experience with photometric calculations and 1-Line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead client teams on small to medium projects.
• Develop construction documents and specifications.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
• Perform advanced calculations and quality control.
• Manage project budgets and serve as Engineer of Record on select projects.
