Job description

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

The Advanced Effectors and Guidance Systems Department is searching for an Electrical Engineer II – Interconnect with experience in electrical interface types, connectors, harness development and interconnect schematics design. The focus of this role is to work with subsystem owners and develop an interconnect model. The interconnect model prescribes a system design and is used to inform cable design and electrical performance parameters. Interconnect models are used throughout a program’s lifecycle to capture the details of the design during development phase and later used for test validation of electrical parameters. Electrical Subsystem Interconnect Engineers collaborate with multiple subsystem responsible engineers, mechanical harness design teams, and work in conjunction with electronics system architects. We are seeking early career candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting‑edge technology to develop electrical subsystems.

Eligibility and Security Clearance

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
