Personnel Consulting Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III with strong NEC knowledge and power systems expertise in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves designing electrical systems, specifying equipment, and coordinating with clients and managers to meet project goals.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in electrical engineering, with experience in MCCs, VFDs, transformers, switchgear, and AutoCAD drawings. Occasional on-site travel is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience focusing on equipment selection, specification, and project management.

Responsabilidades

• Select and specify electrical equipment, including MCCs, VFDs, motors, transformers, and switchgear.
• Conduct evaluations of equipment options, considering performance, cost, quality, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineers to develop electrical system designs that meet specs.
• Prepare detailed equipment specifications, data sheets, and purchase requisitions for procurement.
• Review supplier proposals, drawings, and docs to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Participate in FATs and provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing systems and provide improvement recommendations.
• Perform load, short-circuit, voltage drop, and motor starting studies.
