Job summary

Safran Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer 2 or 3 in Minneapolis to lead electrical design and wiring diagrams for industrial data acquisition and control systems. You will work under the EE Manager, coordinating with multi-discipline teams to deliver robust electrical solutions for jet engine testing equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and the ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience required.
• CE and ATEX regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent for data acquisition and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical design projects with minimal guidance and supervision.
• Create wiring diagrams for control systems and data acquisition.
• Develop high-level and low-level wiring diagrams for assemblies.
• Support project reviews with management and customers.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software engineers in a cross-functional team.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and Safran Test Cells' standards.
• Provide feedback on progress and status to management.
• Assist with on-site installations and troubleshooting as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
