Join the Raytheon team within our Hardware Electrical Engineering Organization responsible for the design, test, manufacture, and mission support of advanced electrical subsystems utilized in extreme battlefield environments. In this role, you will contribute to cutting-edge technologies spanning target detection and tracking, guidance, navigation, digital signal processing, and communications. Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, you will apply rigorous engineering processes to solve complex hardware challenges, engineer high-reliability circuit card assemblies (CCAs), and advance solutions from design through lab integration.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. Degree must be obtained by start date. Experience or coursework with one or more of the following: RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design. Experience operating laboratory test and measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, waveform/function generators, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers) to test hardware, interface with sensors, or measure electrical signals. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from an ABET-accredited institution. Hands-on laboratory experience with hardware/software integration, automated test scripting, test execution, and sensor control. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical circuit design, simulation, and troubleshooting using standard lab instrumentation and analysis tools. Technical working knowledge of electronic components (e.g., semiconductor, passive, or electromechanical commodities) and component application. Familiarity with component obsolescence management methodologies. Knowledge of electro-optical subsystems and optical sensor interfaces. Familiarity with Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and FRACAS processes.
