Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Massachusetts to contribute to the design, analysis, simulation, testing and integration of digital radar processing systems. You will collaborate across engineering disciplines, operations, and supply chain to ensure design integrity and compliance with requirements.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree and at least two years of electrical engineering experience, with hands-on work in computing infrastructure and hardware integration.

Hardware Electrical Engineering Team Overview

Raytheon's Hardware Electrical Engineering team is responsible for design, validation, qualification and production of digital Radar systems. Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.

What You Will Do

• The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, integration or troubleshooting of digital Radar processing systems.
• Collaborate with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with requirements.
• Qualified candidates will research and select servers, workstations, add-in interface cards, storage devices, networking and other COTS hardware.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and information technology infrastructure through a rigorous design and documentation process.
• Experience with system level hardware integration and troubleshooting skills.
• Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
• Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense product development lifecycle.

Additional Requirements

• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: Secret.
• Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.
• Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually.
• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
