Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5 years in the field, plus 3 years of indirect supervisory experience. Flexible hours and driving are needed for site work.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Five (5) years experience in electrical engineering with emphasis in power, lighting, and control design.
• Three (3) years of indirect supervisory experience including management, task assignment, guidance, training, performance monitoring, budgeting or hiring.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design packages (drawings, specifications and calculations) for power and lighting systems and ensure facility compliance.
• Supervise construction contractors and provide guidance for designs prepared by outside consultants.
• Provide capital and maintenance project cost estimates and cost studies to determine cost effectiveness.
• Develop project and construction schedules.
• Prepare scope of work and funding applications for proposed capital projects.
• Must be available to work flexible hours and able to operate a vehicle.
