Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, test, manufacture, and support advanced electrical subsystems for extreme battlefield environments. You will contribute to cutting-edge technologies spanning target detection, guidance, navigation, DSP, and communications, working across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, experience with RF/Analog/Digital, lab instrumentation, and collaboration with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; start date.
• Experience or coursework in RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design/Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, DSP, or PCB design.
• Experience operating lab equipment (oscilloscopes, generators, analyzers) to test hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and analyze electrical subsystems and CCAs across mission architectures.
• Support guidance electronics development, subsystem integration, test, and GPS/IMU interfaces.
• Perform system- and circuit-level analyses, simulations, and component evaluations.
• Hands-on integration, characterization, and troubleshooting of hardware in lab/production environments.
• Support failure investigations and root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
