Job summary

Ideal Aerosmith Inc. is hiring Electrical Engineers at multiple experience levels to design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems for aerospace test and motion-control solutions.

Role involves collaboration with mechanical engineers, creating drawings and wiring diagrams, and leading test procedures while ensuring quality and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001 and EOS guidelines. Some travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; passport required.
• U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or protected individuals per federal contract rules.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical engineering principles to design and develop system components for Ideal Aerosmith products.
• Create detailed technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and component specifications.
• Develop system integration documentation, user manuals, and support materials.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure ease of assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Review customer SOW and assess impact on design and testing.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute test procedures to verify compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Partner with engineers, project managers, and customers to define and deliver engineering solutions.
• Provide expert electrical support during system integration and customer service activities.
• Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and schedule planning for new projects.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Participate and lead within EOS guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards.
