HII's Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate electrical components and systems for naval and industrial applications.

Role includes researching and drafting electrical designs, supporting construction programs, and ensuring ABET-accredited degree requirements are met. This backshift position requires a relevant engineering background and offers competitive compensation within the posted salary range.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Master’s Degree in engineering is acceptable; no required years of professional experience.
• 2 years of relevant exempt experience for the role, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Backshift electrical work and support all new construction programs (FCC, VCS, CLB).
