About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer II, you will provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects. You will report to the Manager of Large Project Electrical Systems & Equipment and be located in Rock Hill, SC, working in a hybrid onsite/remote capacity.

This position includes engineering design, analysis, and procurement support for nuclear power plant systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use intermediate knowledge from prior experience and core college courses.
  • Work with software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or similar.
  • Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects, including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
  • Coordinate with other internal departments at a similar engineering level to obtain necessary information.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
  • Use standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for the development of engineering design documents, including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications to support operating plants.
  • Work with client and site personnel to resolve issues germane to project success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites.
  • Requirement to meet criteria for access to partners’ and clients’ technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of power plant systems and equipment.
  • Experience with power projects.
  • Experience developing procurement specifications for various electrical commodities and reviewing proposals.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $69,200 – $86,500 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
