Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co. is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 to support operation of nuclear power plants in the safety and performance domain.

You will perform engineering evaluations and analyses and document findings for use by the Engineering Manager of Electrical Physical Design. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Rock Hill, SC, combining remote flexibility with on-site collaboration at the Rock Hill office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiar with 3D and 2D design tools.
• Familiar with IEEE and IE codes.
• Familiar with Nuclear Power Plants.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of electrical engineering tasks in support of operation of nuclear power plants.
• Familiar with 3D/2D design tools.
• Propose solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projects.
• Participate in integrated and international project teams and communicate with involved parties.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites or to Industry Group Workshops to gather or present technical information.
• Prepare detailed documentation of analyses.

About The Role

As an Electrical Engineer 1 you will perform engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services to support operation of the nuclear power plants in the nuclear safety and performance field. You will report to the Engineering Manager of Electrical Physical Design. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
