About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer II you will provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects.
You will report to the Manager, Large Project Electrical Systems & Equipment and be located in Rock Hill, SC. You will be hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
- Use intermediate knowledge obtained from previous applicable experience and core college courses.
- Work with software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or similar.
- Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
- Work with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
- Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
- Use standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications necessary to support operating plants.
- Work with client and site personnel to resolve issues germane to project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Willing to travel to client sites.
- You will be asked to meet the criteria for access to our, partners', and clients' technologies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of power plant systems and equipment.
- Experience with power projects.
- Experience developing procurement specifications for various electrical commodities and reviewing proposals.
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
