Westinghouse Electric Company in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects, reporting to the Manager, Large Project Electrical Systems & Equipment. The role is hybrid and based in Rock Hill, SC.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of experience, with US citizenship or permanent residency. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects.
• Use software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or similar.
• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
• Work with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
• Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
• Use standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications necessary to support operating plants.

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer II you will provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects.

You will report to the Manager, Large Project Electrical Systems & Equipment and be located in Rock Hill, SC. You will be hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Use intermediate knowledge obtained from previous applicable experience and core college courses.
• Work with software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or similar.
• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
• Work with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
• Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
• Use standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications necessary to support operating plants.
• Work with client and site personnel to resolve issues germane to project success.

• 2+ years of experience.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
