Job Summary

Logos Technologies is seeking a full‑time Electrical Engineer to support ongoing technology development efforts at our Fairfax, VA office. This role will contribute to ISR sensor design, high‑powered laser systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle integration. The position involves research, design, development, and testing of electronic subsystems and systems for development efforts.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Support the development and design of systems from initial concept through prototype and low‑rate production.
• Research, design, develop, and test electrical components, both individually and as part of larger systems.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors responsible for component and subassembly manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project deliverables, including detailed plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk assessments, issue tracking, and status reports for both customers and internal management.

Education, Experience & License or Certification

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2‑4 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 0‑2 years of experience.
• Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories.
• Familiarity with Altium or comparable circuit‑design tools.
• Experience designing circuit boards, cables, and sensor systems individually and as part of a team.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• U.S. citizenship.

Travel/Physical Requirements

• May require some domestic and/or international travel.
• The role may involve working in a professional office environment and a manufacturing environment. Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and extreme conditions in the plant may occur. Noise levels may be loud.
