The Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center is at the heart of our innovation, focusing on developing cutting‑edge electrical solutions for our products. Our systems are vital to the full product lifecycle, supporting everything from high‑tech engineering labs to critical field operations and sustainment.


As an Electrical Engineer on this team, you will have a hands‑on opportunity to design and integrate state‑of‑the‑art test systems using the industry's latest tools. You will be a key contributor to the evolution of our products, ensuring our systems meet technical and performance goals in a highly collaborative environment.


This position will be located in Tewksbury, Andover or Marlborough, Massachusetts.


What You Will Do


  • Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer


  • Experience with circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for simulation and automation

  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting capabilities in a dynamic environment

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet assigned deadlines

  • Experience in technical writing and delivering formal presentations


Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work 100% onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.


This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.


Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.


This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
