Job summary

Bowman is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our Westminster, CO team. You will design electrical systems, develop construction documents, and coordinate with engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities include field observations, budgeting assistance, and preparing specifications. Entry-level with potential for growth; favorable for candidates pursuing PE licensure. Eligible for remote work arrangements; strong teamwork and problem-solving expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Entry level position, no prior experience required. Any professional experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT software, SKM software tools, and/or Lighting Design software (i.e., AGI, Visual, etc.).
• EIT and LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Progress toward or plans to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, project manager, and clients.
• Conduct field observation visits to document existing field conditions.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to complete the design on schedule.
• Produce project construction documents to meet milestone schedules within budget.
• Attend coordination and design meetings as needed.
• Assist with project specifications and budget construction cost estimating.
