Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 to perform engineering evaluations and analyses to support operation of nuclear power plants in the safety and performance field.

The role reports to the Engineering Manager of Electrical Physical Design and includes a hybrid work arrangement blending remote flexibility with on-site collaboration at our Cranberry Township, PA office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiar with 3D/2D design tools.
• Familiar with IEEE and IE codes.
• Familiar with Nuclear Power Plants.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering tasks in support of operation of nuclear power plants.
• Familiar with 3D/2D design tools.
• Propose solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projects.
• Participate in integrated and international project teams and communicate with involved parties.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites or to Industry Group Workshops.
• Prepare detailed documentation of analyses.
