Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
• At least 3 years of electrical engineering design experience on commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency generation, fire alarm, and security.
• Assess cost-effective layouts and verify code compliance.
• Prepare BIM drawings and coordinate with other disciplines across phases.
• Perform construction administration tasks such as site observations and shop drawing reviews.
• Define project scope and manage variances to keep projects on track.
• Maintain relationships with clients and project teams and communicate status.
• Mentor junior electrical designers.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
