A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Building Engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of complex building projects across a variety of market sectors while serving as a technical resource for clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and other building projects
• Design power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and building electrical systems
• Develop construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports
• Utilize Revit, ETAP, and lighting analysis software to deliver high-quality designs
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Support construction administration, site visits, and field inspections
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall project success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in the building consulting industry
• Active PE license required
• Strong proficiency with Revit, ETAP, and lighting design software
• Experience with power systems, generators, coordination studies, and arc flash analysis
• Thorough knowledge of NEC, NFPA standards, and applicable building codes
• Strong project management, leadership, and client-facing communication skills
• LEED accreditation is a plus
