Job summary

Atec, Inc. is seeking an entry to mid-level Electrical Engineer to assist in the design, development, documentation, and testing of hardware and firmware for military and commercial environments.

You will work with Electrical Engineering staff to develop hardware, firmware, and testing procedures, prepare schematics, and assist with technical manuals and QA documentation. Strong communication skills and willingness to travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant project experience.
• Exposure to C/C++, Python, LabVIEW or PLC programming is expected.
• Understanding of analog/digital electronics, schematics and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development and testing of hardware and firmware for products.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams and system layouts.
• Coordinate with manufacturing on prototypes and QA documentation.
• Analyze data to establish acceptance test standards for new designs.
• Support AS9100/ISO procedures and through documentation control.
