Job summary

Atec, Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in the design, development, documentation, and testing of hardware, firmware, and application programs for military and commercial environments. The role involves close collaboration with Electrical Engineering staff to develop procedures and documentation in accordance with AS9100/ISO standards.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (1–4 years), familiarity with C/C++, Python and LabVIEW, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 1–4 years relevant design experience.
• Experience designing electrical/electronic components and systems.
• Familiarity with military and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hardware/firmware design, development, documentation and testing.
• Develop hardware, firmware, documentation, and testing procedures with engineering staff.
• Prepare schematics and wiring diagrams; assist with schematic capture and drawings.
• Assist in design, testing and debugging of firmware and software systems.
• Exposure to C/C++, Python, LabVIEW; knowledge of PLC and CAN systems helpful.
• Contribute to creating and executing manuals, ATPs, QTPs and ICDs with QA/Tech Publications.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing on prototypes and maintenance of equipment.
