Novate Solutions, Inc in West Sacramento, CA is seeking an Associate Engineer I - Electrical. This entry-level role supports design, creation, and maintenance of electrical diagrams and P&IDs under supervision.

You will assist in ladder diagrams, panel evaluations, and network diagrams while developing practical engineering skills. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in EE (ABET-accredited) and 0–1 year of experience, with strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of electrical engineering experience (internship or job-related)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD Electrical experience
• Willingness to travel up to 25% locally

Responsibilities

• Performs routine or entry-level engineering tasks.
• Contributes to development of engineering plans and designs.
• Investigates and analyzes new materials, equipment, and practices.
• Prepares engineering calculations, estimates, statistics, and minor designs.
• Assist with sourcing parts for BOM.
• Analyzes quotes and bids to assist senior engineer.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
