Novate Solutions, Inc in West Sacramento, CA is seeking an Associate Engineer I - Electrical to join our process control team. This entry-level role provides support for engineering projects, including design, creation, maintenance, and revision of electrical diagrams and related drawings.

You will work under supervision, learn across projects, and help meet deadlines while collaborating with colleagues. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and strong communication,

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse personalities.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to accurately type 35+ WPM.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software such as AutoCAD Electrical experience.

• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine or entry-level engineering tasks.
• Contributes to the development of engineering plans and designs.
• Investigates and analyzes new materials, equipment, and engineering practices.
• Prepares engineering calculations, estimates, statistics, and minor designs.
• Assist with sourcing parts for BOM.
• Analyzes quotes and bids to assist senior engineer.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
