Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineer I for 2026 interns. The role supports early-stage research, design, and development of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace/defense under senior engineers. Hybrid or in-office work available.

Responsibilities include assisting in design, testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. A BS in EE and 0–2+ years' related experience are preferred, with a Secret clearance to be pursued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Basic understanding of electrical/electronic design and testing principles.
  • Familiarity with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
