Job summary
The Structures Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer I in Northridge, CA to support the design and development of electrical control systems and components. You will utilize CAD and engineering software for design and analysis, create and maintain technical documentation, drawings and specifications, and participate in testing, validation and troubleshooting.
Working with manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams, you will help ensure safety, quality and compliance while contributing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering.
- 0–2 years of engineering experience.
- Familiarity with CAD and electrical design standards.
- Ability to create and maintain technical drawings and specs.
- Ability to participate in testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems and components.
- Use CAD and engineering software for design and analysis.
- Create and maintain technical drawings, docs, and specs.
- Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams.
- Inspect installations to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist with project planning, budgeting and cost estimation.
- Support continuous improvement and best practices.
