Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our hybrid team across multiple locations, including Denver. You will work on energy projects across industrial, water, federal, and power sectors, with growing focus on renewable systems.

You will lead electrical system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash), design medium- and low-voltage systems, and collaborate with vendors and other engineers. Travel and field visits may be involved.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University.
2 - 8 years of experience.
Understanding of developing engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform basic engineering calculations.
Assist in sizing, selecting, and specifying electrical equipment and coordinating information with vendors.
Perform project field site visits.
Designing medium- and low-voltage electrical systems.
FE or PE depending on experience level.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have a general understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Manage other discipline engineers and perform electrical work on various projects.
Conduct electrical system analyses including load flow, short circuit, coordination and arc flash studies.
Design and model microgrid, battery storage, and photovoltaic systems.
Ensure electrical design complies with NEC and supports medium/low-voltage distribution, lighting and building systems.
