Job summary

Haskell in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Associate (Electrical Engineering) to provide complete engineering and design solutions for assigned projects, collaborating with senior staff to advance understanding of the project delivery process.

You will engage in lighting, power, fire alarm, telecommunications, and construction administration tasks, working with design teams to deliver compliant documents and drawings in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree required.
• 3–8 years of experience within the electrical engineering discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, or actively progressing toward licensure.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of building systems and codes to conceptual designs and calculations.
• Prepare design documents, calculations, and coordination with project staff.
• Lead design deliverables and ensure project schedule and budget compliance.
• Support construction administration, field observations, and RFI/ shop drawing reviews.
• Develop and integrate lighting, power, fire alarm, telecommunications, and other design components.
