Daikin Applied is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical power and control systems for HVAC chillers, including PM motors and dedicated medium-voltage power supplies. Responsibilities include creating specifications, analyzing test data, and leading cross-functional reviews.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with strong collaboration skills, travel capability, and the ability to engage with global partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with GPA 3.5+ considered.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Willingness to participate in occasional international meetings.

Responsabilités

• Develop specifications and technical requirements for electrical and electronic components used in chiller systems.
• Analyze test and validation data to evaluate system performance, reliability, and compliance with design requirements.
• Provide input for management reviews of product development projects.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to review project progress.
• Lead corrective action teams to solve quality problems.
• Develop, integrate, and support electrical subsystems and components used in commercial HVAC chiller products.
• Design and direct engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.
• Support troubleshooting, commissioning, validation, and continuous improvement efforts for electrical systems in laboratory, manufacturing, and field environments.
