Participants will gain formal training, on‑the‑job competency development, mentoring, and multiple job assignments, with roles spanning process control networks, automation, and power systems to support safe, reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Students completing the last year of the requirements for their bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering; or, individuals with a bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering with two years or less directly related work experience.
• Strong academic performance in core programs, communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Position may require driving on a routine basis.
• Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
• Providing technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
• Developing and/or deploying industry leading technologies to reduce carbon, increase efficiency and maximize returns.
• Using digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
