Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with electronic troubleshooting and electrical system design.
• Proficiency in high voltage systems, estimating costs, design and installation.
• In-depth knowledge of transformers, switchgear, breakers and relays.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Proficient in CAD drafting and revision of technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Apply electricity and materials knowledge in the design process.
• Collaborate with project managers on production to meet scope, time and budget.
• Conduct research to produce design specifications for products.
• Use CAD software to draft and revise drawings and specs.
• Estimate material, labor, and costs for budgets.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical control systems.
• Maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities and systems.
• Inspect installations for conformance to design and safety standards.
• Study technical drawings and maps to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
