We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support our healthcare studio in Long Beach or Irvine. The ideal candidate will have experience designing electrical systems for new and existing buildings.

Responsibilities

• Review existing as-built drawings and perform field investigations.
• Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate design efforts with team members, including schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare schematic designs.
• Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE.
• Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.
• Design lighting, normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
• Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
• Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
• LEED Accreditation and PE License are a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit.
• Knowledge of California Building Code, National Electrical Code.
• Experience with HCAI, Net Zero Energy/Carbon projects is a plus.
