Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design electrical hardware and firmware for commercial products. You will work with project management, product managers, and operations to move products from concept to production and provide lifecycle support.

Hybrid role in Largo, FL (3 days in office) with relocation assistance available. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience or MS EE with 1+ years, and proficiency in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 2+ years’ experience or MS EE with 1+ years’ experience.
2+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
Proficient with circuit simulation and schematic/layout software such as Altium Designer.
Experience in power electronics and VFDs.
Experience designing, prototyping, debugging, testing, and bringing products to manufacturing.
Working knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.
Experience designing to meet UL listing requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and create electrical/electronic hardware and firmware for commercial products.
Interface with project management, product managers, and operations.
Take products from concept through production and provide lifecycle support.
