The Electrical Engineer will work in a senior-level engineer capacity performing all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. You will have the opportunity to work on a slated two-year Hydrocarbon Processing (HPI) project encompassing petroleum refining, gas processing, petrochemical, and chemical technologies. There is also potential to work on projects encompassing other areas of process such as hydrogen, ammonia & fertilizer, new energy, and LNG. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
If you want to grow and further develop your technical skills in the GFC industry alongside our most talented engineering professionals and clients - this is an excellent opportunity for you! Although project experience in gas, fuels and chemicals (GFC) is preferred - we are interested and excited to consider candidates with any Power Generation Facility design experience (i.e. LV/MV - Power Plants, Nuclear Plants, Hydrogen Facilities, etc.).
Please note: This role will be hybrid: 2 days per week remote, 3 days per week in-office out of any Black and Veatch office.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 11 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
PE licensure in their designated home office country, or be in active pursuit of such registration.
Typical office environment. May be subject to extreme cold (temperatures below 30 degrees for periods of more than one hour), extreme heat (temperatures above 90 degrees for periods of more than one hour), hazards (electrical currents, working on scaffold).
