Job summary

Verito Solutions in Fort Walton Beach, FL seeks an Electrical Engineer for a 12+ month onsite contract. You will design, build and test electrical systems, develop wiring diagrams, and ensure EMC/EMI compliance for aerospace applications.

Required are a BSEE or MSEE with aviation experience, AS50881 wiring certification, and CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical. Occasional travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering with aviation focus.
• AS50881 wiring certification or experience in aerospace wiring.
• AC 43.13-1B standards and practices.
• Experience with first article testing of new designs.
• Experience modifying code for testing/debugging systems.
• Proficient with multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed.

• Wires/cables selection to satisfy signal type, current, voltage, EMC, and EMI aircraft requirements

Must Haves

• BSEE with 8 years of aviation related experience.; MSEE and 5 years of directly related experience.
• AS50881 (Wiring Aerospace Vehicle).
• AC 43.13-1B standards and practices.
• AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical, experience. SolidWorks highly preferred.
• Experience with first article testing newly designed components.
• Experience creating/modifying code for testing/debugging new systems.
• Proficient with operation of electronic instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes.
• logic analyzers, and spectrum analysis.
• Occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations (Alaska, Hawaii, UK and EUROPE)

Preferred

• 10 + years of experience in electrical engineering design in both Military and Civil aviation.
• Knowledge and actual Participation in FAA STC Approval process; military Airworthiness process.
• Familiarity with RF principles / Familiar with Harness Related Mil Specs.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and test instrumentation.
