Job summary

Bright Silicon Technologies is seeking an electrical engineer to own the specification, qualification, and integration of custom silicon for the Lightfield Directing Array. You will develop test boards, instrumentation, and automated test systems to characterize mixed-signal ASICs and integrate them with MEMS hardware.

You will define requirements for next-generation ICs, source components, and manage vendor relationships, while collaborating with mechanical, software, production, and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in full-stack PCB design from specs to hardware bring-up and integration.
• Experience with ECAD tools such as Altium, Allegro/OrCAD, Eagle or KiCad.
• Experience using electronic test equipment and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• U.S. citizenship required for government projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electronics and PCBAs for test and reliability testing of custom ASICs for LDA applications.
• Develop environmental and reliability test plans and hardware, validate and scale test programs.
• Define requirements for custom ICs in next-generation LDA systems.
• Source components and services and manage relationships with external customers and vendors.
• Prepare technical documentation for internal and external release.
