Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering tasks. You bring engineering judgment from years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping, while we offer problems that push models beyond current capabilities.

You will design challenging circuits, run them through frontier AI models, compare versions, and critique model-derived work with rigorous, clear reasoning.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (native or bilingual)
• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering
• Background in electrical/electronics engineering or related discipline
• Ability to defend design tradeoffs and decisions
• Comfort with AI tools or quick learner

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for frontier AI models.
• Run problems through AI models and judge output against professional standards.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and evaluate performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and calculations with written rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and correct interpretation.
