Job summary

Nexus Engineering Group is an employee‑owned, full‑service EPCm firm. As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll gather and analyze data to develop basic electrical designs for power distribution, one‑line drawings, load studies, and equipment lists across industrial projects.

You’ll visit client facilities, develop designs, and work with senior engineers for review. Nexus emphasizes growth, mentorship, and hands‑on work with real ownership through the ESOP, plus flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 1+ year of experience in power distribution or related design.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data to prepare electrical designs for power distribution.
• Develop one-line drawings, load studies, and equipment lists.
• Prepare equipment lists and support transformer, switchgear, motors, and UPS selections.
• Create area classification docs and lighting/HT drawings.
• Apply standards and submit work to senior staff for review.
• Visit client facilities to collect field data and support design development.
