Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is offering a Military Fellowship Program designed for service members transitioning to civilian work through SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes. The program provides up to six months of on-the-job industry training with the IAS/ISR business area, focusing on electrical engineering and related disciplines.

Eligible candidates must be actively serving in the military and not yet separated.

Qualifications

• Active duty military status and DoD SkillBridge eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in electrical/electronic circuit design and testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical/electronic systems.
• Develop circuit card assemblies in some applications.
• Implement electrical wiring design practices.
• Conduct testing and validation of electronic systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits.
• Develop and document technical designs, test plans, and results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical insights.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
