Trueline, an established American manufacturer, seeks an Electrical Engineer to own the plant's electrical infrastructure at a 650,000-square-foot campus in Columbia, PA. You’ll manage high/medium voltage power from the plant substation through distribution, during upgrades and growth.

The right candidate is hands-on, field-ready, and will influence safety, reliability, and long-term planning for a 24/7 operation with ~20 MW load.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering in heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with medium-voltage distribution, substations, transformers.
• Experience creating and maintaining one-line diagrams.
• Hands-on field experience troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Experience managing contractors, bids, schedules, and budgets.

Responsabilités

• Own the plant's high- and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure including substations and switchgear.
• Document the distribution network from utility to 480V panels and maintain one-line diagrams.
• Develop specs, scopes of work, and bid packages for upgrades.
• Review vendor designs for compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate electrical contractors and inspect completed work to spec.
• Determine power loads and energy requirements for new equipment.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
• Partner with utility for service upgrades and outages.
• Build NFPA 70B-aligned preventive maintenance programs.
• Lead electrical planning for annual shutdowns in a 24/7 operation.
