SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Facilities) in Hawthorne, CA to design, build, and activate high‑power electrical systems for new facilities. You will work with construction engineers, architects, and trade partners to support critical infrastructure projects and drive global impact in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with utilities, ensuring code compliance, and reviewing NFPA/NEC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of professional electrical project experience, including power distribution, switchgear, UPS, or generators.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical power distribution systems for facilities.
• Specifically design switchgear, MCCs, lighting, grounding, UPS, generators, and transfer switches.
• Provide electrical engineering support to troubleshoot and operate facility electrical components.
