Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Facilities) to design and activate high-power electrical systems for world-class manufacturing facilities in Hawthorne, CA. You will lead electrical design efforts, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure compatibility with power budgets and facility regulations.
The role requires a degree in electrical engineering with 1+ year of experience, strong knowledge of switchgear, UPS, generators, and NFPA codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 1+ year of professional experience on electrical projects, power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and/or generators.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical power distribution, switchgear, UPS, and generators for facilities.
- Support facility technicians with troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Ensure designs conform to NFPA codes and electrical standards; coordinate with utilities and other disciplines.
