Job summary

Engtal is partnering with an early-stage space technology company developing next-generation hardware for spacecraft and space-based applications. They seek an Electrical Engineer with end-to-end ownership of PCB development, taking electronics from requirements to manufactured, tested hardware.

You will own the full PCB lifecycle, perform schematic capture, component selection, layout, and board bring-up, working directly with manufacturers to fabricate and assemble boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience developing PCBs from scratch.
• Experience with schematic capture, component selection and PCB layout.
• Experience within spacecraft, aerospace, defense, robotics or other complex hardware systems would be highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own the full PCB development lifecycle, from requirements through to delivered hardware.
• Develop system-level electrical requirements and architectures.
• Perform schematic capture, component selection and PCB design/layout.
• Work directly with manufacturers to take boards through fabrication and assembly.
• Own board bring-up, testing, debugging and validation.
